Eilat Filagree Marcasite Marquise Necklace

The marquise-shaped stone in the pendant is known as Eilat stone, which is composed of a mixture of secondary copper minerals including malachite, azurite, turquoise, and others.  Due to the unique mixture of elements, no two gemstones are identical, giving you a unique necklace.  The gemstone is mined only in Israel and is also known as the King Solomon stone after King David’s son.  Solomon, who asked God for wisdom (2 Chron 1:10), built the first Temple in Israel, and wrote most of the book of Proverbs which helped shaped our faith.  These interesting facts make this stone particularly meaningful to both the Jewish community and Christians.
